Morrissey/Tennant

Let's start of with an easy one... Mr. Ripley Holden (David Morrissey) and DI Peter Carlisle (David Tennant) in BBC's Blackpool. The basis of the actual story is thus; Ripley opens a new "casino arcade" only for a dead body to turn up. Peter is the investigating officer who Ripley takes an instant dislike to...and even more so when Peter takes a more than professional interest in Ripley's wife! However, in my tiny little mind, the story is thus; Peter arrives from Scotland to investigate Ripley only for them to instantly be attracted to one another. They try to deny their feelings for one another - Peter even inventing a hetrosexual cover story for himself with Ripley's wife - but you know behind closed doors they are probably going at it like rabbits.

Upon first meeting there in an instant spark. But the sparks really begin to fly when they decide to sing a duet - These Boots Are Made For Walking - Nancy Sinatra.

Peter wants to kiss Ripley but Ripley is trying to be strong and deny his feelings.

But Peter gives him his puppy dog eyes so Ripley has to clench his teeth in staunch determination.
And in the most peacock-like sequence ever, they show each other their plummages by engaging in a bit of line dancing.

Ripley has issues with showing his affections. Forehead to forehead is about as publicly sexual as Ripley gets.

But be under no illusions, Ripley is in charge. Peter is his bitch.

A bit of hand holding. This relationship is moving fast!

Lots of eye fucking.

Later, in Ripley's office, he offers himself on a plate to Peter. Peter, however, is distracted by a small trophy on his desk. Wonder what he wants to do with that?

Ripley calls round to Peter's flat just as he has got out of the shower (how convenient). He too wants to know what Peter wants to do with that trophy. He has it in his overcoat pocket.

And, in perhaps one of the most homoerotic scenes ever, Ripley pushes Peter's head under the water. Makes a change from under the covers.

Feel the sexual tension!

And so, soaked and suitably worked up, the pair retire to dry off and relieve their frustrations...
